Okay, so looking through the thousands of pieces of art here on DeviantArt, I have come to the conclusion that I really don't like manga or animae. I have the hardest time appreciating something so unoriginal, so overused. And I think those artists who spend all their time drawing figures that look like they're straight out of a kid's coloring book probably have another great talent that they're pretty much ignoring. However, there are certain artists who can take it to a new level and create something amazing. So let me just give props to them. Still, those 80%-90% of cartoonists who can't really draw in the first place are driving me crazy. I don't understand why drawings and overall inspiration has to come from TV and comic books when there's an entire world of amazing things to capture and/or recreate. More people should create art based on what awes them. Can I get an amen?
